About Legacy Makers Foundation
Our History
Founded in 2024 by a group of dedicated social workers, Legacy Makers Foundation embarked on its journey by organizing birthday celebrations for underprivileged children at a nearby high school. These festivities, complete with cake and modest gifts, aimed to uplift spirits and foster a sense of joy. Our vision extends far beyond these initial efforts; we aspire to ensure that every child in our community experiences the delight of their special day. Additionally, we offer vital mental health services and mentorship programs, supporting both children and their families. Our mission transcends school boundaries, encompassing the entirety of our community, as we strive to create a nurturing environment for all.
Our Team
Our team is made up of licensed therapists, social workers, community advocates, other mental health professionals, and dedicated volunteers from the community who are passionate about supporting celebrating life milestones along with mental health and wellness in our community.
